You can find Urban Park Rangers at Ranger Stations and Nature Centers in all the parks of NYC.  Rangers facilitate free hikes, campouts, canoe outings, fishing outings, bird tours, and workshops that enhance your outdoor skills – all offered in your neighborhood and across the city.  You can also sign up to receive their free Outdoors in NYC newsletter to keep up-to-date.

This site offers free interactive courses for architect and engineer professionals involved in the k-12 school buildings. High performance school design integrates daylighting, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency to build a school that runs efficiently, saves money, protects natural resources, and provides superior visual, acoustical, and thermal comfort.

Each course has been approved for one (1) Learning Unit in the area of Health, Safety, Welfare under the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES).

The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art is a distinguished private college of art, architecture and engineering founded in 1859 by Peter Cooper, an inventor, industrialist and philanthropist. Since its founding, all admitted students have received full-tuition scholarships.  That’s right, the school is so heavily endowed you pay no tuition!  Located in the NYU area.
